PAGAMENTO DELLE MULTE

Infrazioni commesse con veicoli immatricolati all'estero

Il conducente di un veicolo immatricolato all'estero, che viola una disposizione del codice della strada, può effettuare il pagamento in misura ridotta versando direttamente la somma nelle mani dell'agente accertatore. Se il trasgressore non si avvale di questa facoltà (ad es. perché intende presentare ricorso o perché non è consentito il pagamento in misura ridotta) deve versare la stessa somma, ma a titolo di cauzione. In caso contrario l'Agente di Polizia procede al fermo amministrativo del veicolo fino a quando la sanzione non viene pagata (e comunque per un tempo non superiore a 60 giorni).

PAYMENT OF FINES

Offences committed with vehicles registered abroad

The driver of a vehicle registered abroad who violates a road traffic rule may pay a reduced fine by handing the amount directly to the officer on the spot. If the offender does not use this option (e.g. because they intend to appeal or the reduced payment is not allowed), they must pay the same amount as a security deposit. Otherwise, the police officer will impose an administrative seizure of the vehicle until the fine is paid (and in any case, for no longer than 60 days).

ZAHLUNG VON GELDBUβEN

Verstöße mit im Ausland zugelassenen Fahrzeugen

Ein Fahrer eines im Ausland zugelassenen Fahrzeugs, der gegen eine Verkehrsregel verstößt, kann die reduzierte Geldbuße direkt beim kontrollierenden Beamten bezahlen. Falls der Fahrer von dieser Möglichkeit keinen Gebrauch macht (z. B. weil er Einspruch einlegen möchte oder eine reduzierte Zahlung nicht erlaubt ist), muss er denselben Betrag als Sicherheitsleistung hinterlegen. Andernfalls kann die Polizei eine Verwaltungspfändung des Fahrzeugs anordnen, bis die Strafe bezahlt ist (jedoch nicht länger als 60 Tage).

Infracciones cometidas con vehículos matriculados en el extranjero

El conductor de un vehículo matriculado en el extranjero que infrinja una norma de tráfico puede pagar una multa reducida entregando directamente el importe al agente que realiza el control. Si el infractor no utiliza esta posibilidad (por ejemplo, porque quiere presentar un recurso o no está permitido el pago reducido), debe pagar la misma cantidad como fianza. En caso contrario, el agente de policía procederá a la inmovilización administrativa del vehículo hasta que se pague la sanción (y en todo caso, por un periodo no superior a 60 días).

DECURTAZIONE DI PUNTI PER CHI HA UNA PATENTE ESTERA

Inibizione alla guida per decurtazione di 20 punti

Se il conducente straniero ha accumulato sanzioni che prevedono la decurtazione totale di 20 punti, non si applica la decurtazione di punti sulla patente, ma l’inibizione alla guida di veicoli in Italia per un periodo che varia da 6 mesi a 3 anni.

POINT DEDUCTION FOR FOREIGN DRIVING LICENCE

Driving ban due to 20-point deduction

If a foreign driver accumulates violations that would result in a total deduction of 20 points, the points are not deducted from their licence. Instead, they are banned from driving vehicles in Italy for a period ranging from 6 months to 3 years.

PUNKTEABZUG BEI AUSLÄNDISCHEM FÜHRERSCHEIN

Fahrverbot bei einem Abzug von 20 Punkten

Wenn ein ausländischer Fahrer Verstöße begeht, die zu einem gesamten Abzug von 20 Punkten führen würden, erfolgt kein Punkteabzug auf dem Führerschein. Stattdessen wird ein Fahrverbot für Italien verhängt, das zwischen 6 Monaten und 3 Jahren dauern kann.

DESCUENTO DE PUNTOS PARA PERMISOS DE CONDUCIR EXTRANJEROS

Prohibición de conducir por descuento de 20 puntos

Si un conductor extranjero acumula sanciones que suponen la pérdida total de 20 puntos, no se aplicará el descuento de puntos en su permiso de conducir, sino que se le prohibirá conducir vehículos en Italia por un periodo de entre 6 meses y 3 años.

ECCESSO DI VELOCITÀ

In caso di eccesso di velocità sono applicate queste sanzioni.

Le sanzioni sono aumentate di un terzo se l'infrazione avviene tra le ore 22:00 e le ore 7:00.

1) Se la velocità non supera il limite di oltre 10 km/h:

- sanzione da € 42 a € 173;

2) se l’eccesso di velocità è da più di 10 fino a non oltre 40 km/h:

- sanzione da € 173 a € 695

- decurtazione di 3 punti sulla patente;

3) da 40 a 60 km/h in più:

- sanzione da € 543 a € 2.170

- decurtazione di 6 punti sulla patente

- sospensione della patente da 1 a 3 mesi

4) oltre 60 km/h in più:

- sanzione di € 845,00

- decurtazione di 10 punti sulla patente

- sospensione della patente da 6 a 12 mesi

SPEEDING

In case of speeding, the following penalties are applied. The sanctions are increased by one third if the offence occurs between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

1) If the speed limit is exceeded by no more than 10 km/h:

- fine from € 42 to € 173;

2) if the speed limit is exceeded by more than 10 km/h but no more than 40 km/h:

- fine from € 173 to € 695

- deduction of 3 points;

3) if the speed limit is exceeded by more than 40 km/h but no more than 60 km/h:

- fine from € 543 to € 2.170

- deduction of 6 points

- suspension of the driving licence from 1 to 3 months;

4) if the speed limit is exceeded by more than 60 km/h:

- fine from € 845 to € 3.382

- deduction of 10 points

- suspension of the driving licence from 6 to 12 months.

GESCHWINDIGKEITSÜBERSCHREITUNG

Im Fall einer Geschwindigkeitsüberschreitung werden folgende Strafen angewendet. Die Strafen werden um ein Drittel erhöht, wenn der Verstoß zwischen 22:00 Uhr und 7:00 Uhr erfolgt.

1) Wenn die Geschwindigkeitsüberschreitung 10 km/h nicht übersteigt:

- Geldstrafe von € 42 bis € 173;

2) wenn die Geschwindigkeitsüberschreitung mehr als 10 km/h, aber nicht mehr als 40 km/h beträgt:

- Geldstrafe von € 173 bis € 695

- Abzug von 3 Punkten;

3) wenn die Überschreitung mehr als 40 km/h, aber nicht mehr als 60 km/h beträgt:

- Geldstrafe von € 543 bis € 2.170

- Abzug von 6 Punkten

- Führerscheinentzug von 1 bis 3 Monaten;

4) wenn die Geschwindigkeit um mehr als 60 km/h überschritten wird:

- Geldstrafe von € 845 bis € 3.382

- Abzug von 10 Punkten

- Führerscheinentzug von 6 bis 12 Monaten

EXCESO DE VELOCIDAD

En caso de exceso de velocidad se aplican las siguientes sanciones. Las sanciones se aumentan en un tercio si la infracción ocurre entre las 22:00 y las 7:00.

1) Si el exceso de velocidad no supera los 10 km/h:

- multa de € 42 a € 173;

2) si el exceso de velocidad supera los 10 km/h pero no supera los 40 km/h:

- multa de € 173 a € 695

retirada de 3 puntos;

3) si el exceso es superior a 40 km/h pero no supera los 60 km/h:

- multa de € 543 a € 2.170

- retirada de 6 puntos

- suspensión del permiso de conducir de 1 a 3 meses;

4) si el exceso supera los 60 km/h:

- multa de € 845 a € 3.382

- retirada de 10 puntos

- suspensión del permiso de conducir de 6 a 12 meses.

GUIDA IN STATO DI EBBREZZA ALCOLICA

1) Tasso alcolemico tra 0,5 e 0,8 g/l:

- sanzione amministrativa di € 543

- sospensione della patente da 3 a 6 mesi

- decurtazione di 10 punti dalla patente.

2) Tasso alcolemico tra 0,8 e 1,5 g/l:

- arresto fino a 6 mesi

- ammenda penale da € 800 a € 3.200

- sospensione della patente da 6 mesi a 1 anno

- decurtazione di 10 punti dalla patente.

3) Tasso alcolemico superiore a 1,5 g/l:

- arresto da 6 mesi a 1 anno

- ammenda penale da € 1.500 a € 6.000

- sospensione della patente da 1 a 2 anni

- confisca del veicolo (se di proprietà del conducente)

- decurtazione di 10 punti dalla patente.

4) Aggravanti:

- se il conducente causa un incidente sotto effetto di alcol, le pene sono aumentate fino al doppio.

- per i neopatentati (patente da meno di 3 anni) e autisti professionali (mezzi pesanti, trasporto passeggeri), il limite è 0,0 g/l.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

1) Blood alcohol level between 0.5 and 0.8 g/l:

- administrative fine of € 543;

- driving licence suspension from 3 to 6 months

- deduction of 10 points from the driving licence.

2) Blood alcohol level between 0.8 and 1.5 g/l:

- arrest: up to 6 months

- criminal fine from € 800 to € 3.200

- driving licence suspension from 6 months to 1 year

- deduction of 10 points from the driving licence.

3) Blood alcohol level over 1.5 g/l:

- arrest from 6 months to 1 year

- criminal fine from € 1.500 to € 6.000

- driving licence suspension from 1 to 2 years

- vehicle confiscation (if owned by the driver)

- deduction of 10 points from the driving licence.

4) Aggravating circumstances:

- if the driver causes an accident under the influence of alcohol, the penalties are doubled

- for new drivers (less than 3 years of licence) and professional drivers (heavy vehicles, passenger transport), the limit is 0.0 g/l.

FAHREN UNTER ALKOHOLEINFLUSS

1) Blutalkoholwert zwischen 0,5 und 0,8 g/l:

- Verwaltungsgeldstrafe von € 543

- Führerscheinentzug von 3 bis 6 Monaten

- Abzug von 10 Punkten vom Führerschein.

2) Blutalkoholwert zwischen 0,8 und 1,5 g/l:

- Freiheitsstrafe: bis zu 6 Monate

- Strafgeld von € 800 bis € 3.200

- Führerscheinentzug von 6 Monaten bis 1 Jahr

- Abzug von 10 Punkten vom Führerschein

3) Blutalkoholwert über 1,5 g/l:

- Freiheitsstrafe von 6 Monaten bis 1 Jahr

- Strafgeld von € 1.500 bis € 6.000

- Führerscheinentzug von 1 bis 2 Jahren

- Beschlagnahmung des Fahrzeugs (wenn im Besitz des Fahrers)

- Abzug von 10 Punkten vom Führerschein

4) Erschwerende Umstände:

- wenn der Fahrer unter Alkoholeinfluss einen Unfall verursacht, werden die Strafen bis zum Doppelten erhöht

- für Fahranfänger (Führerschein seit weniger als 3 Jahren) und Berufskraftfahrer (Schwerverkehr, Personentransport) gilt ein Grenzwert von 0,0 g/l.

CONDUCCIÓN BAJO LOS EFECTOS DEL ALCOHOL

1) Tasa de alcohol entre 0,5 y 0,8 g/l:

- multa administrativa de € 543

- suspensión del permiso de conducir de 3 a 6 meses

- retirada de 10 puntos del permiso de conducir.

2) Tasa de alcohol entre 0,8 y 1,5 g/l:

- arresto: hasta 6 meses

- multa penal de € 800 a € 3.200

- suspensión del permiso de conducir de 6 meses a 1 año

- retirada de 10 puntos del permiso de conducir.

3) Tasa de alcohol superior a 1,5 g/l:

- arresto de 6 meses a 1 año

- multa penal de € 1.500 a € 6.000

- suspensión del permiso de conducir de 1 a 2 años

- confiscación del vehículo (si es propiedad del conductor)

- retirada de 10 puntos del permiso de conducir.

4) Circunstancias agravantes:

- si el conductor causa un accidente bajo los efectos del alcohol, las penas se duplican

- para conductores noveles (permiso desde hace menos de 3 años) y conductores profesionales (vehículos pesados, transporte de pasajeros), el límite es de 0,0 g/l.
